Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the evenings to join the Sterile Processing Department. The role requires 40 hours per week with hours 3:00pm-11:30pm and rotating weekends/holidays.

Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience is preferred; GED is required and CBSPD/IAHCSMM certifications are strongly preferred. Benefits and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Equivalent required.
• Certification CBSPD or IAHCSMM strongly preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and cart setup.
• Follow procedures to ensure decontamination completion and proper labeling.
