Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL seeks a Sterile Processing Tech for full- or part-time roles to help ensure sterile materials and equipment meet hospital standards. The role supports surgical instrumentation and contributes to patient safety by maintaining decontamination and packing workflows.

Shifts are 2:00pm–10:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays; GED required and CBSPD/IAHCSMM credentials preferred. Competitive hourly pay and robust benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Education: GED/High School Equivalent required.
• Certification CBSPD or IAHCSMM strongly preferred.
• Experience: Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and surgical case cart setup.
• Follow established procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution with accurate labeling by department.
