The position requires 2 years of healthcare sterile processing experience, strong knowledge of infection control, and certification (CRCST/CBSPD or CSPDT) upon hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification: CBSPD CRCST or CSPDT through HSPA required upon hire.
• Two years’ experience in healthcare sterile processing (or surgical/procedural area).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Sterile Processing Department activities.
• Mentor and train new technicians and provide ongoing education.
• Oversee instrumentation inventory and distribution; ensure accurate labeling and case cart setup.
• Maintain sterilization records and monitor infection control practices.
