Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for the Evenings shift. The role is 40 hours per week with hours 3:00pm–11:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays, and requires attention to sterile technique to support patient care.

You will prepare sterile instruments, follow decontamination and packaging procedures, and label cases accurately. GED required; CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification preferred; two years of sterile processing or OR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• GED or high school equivalent required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and case cart setup to ensure quality products for patient care.
• Follow procedures to ensure decontamination completion and accurate labeling by department.
