Endeavor Health is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the Evenings shift in Arlington Heights, IL. The role involves providing sterile processed materials to hospital departments and maintaining strict contamination control.

Requirements include GED and preferred CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification, plus about two years of sterile processing or OR experience. The position offers full-time or part-time hours with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• GED or high school equivalent required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification strongly preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging sterilization and surgical case cart setup while ensuring quality patient care.
• Follow established procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution with correct labeling.
