Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech for the night shift (11:00pm–7:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays. You will provide sterile materials and equipment and ensure proper decontamination, packaging, and cart setup for surgical cases.

Requirements include GED/HS equivalent; CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification strongly preferred and two years of sterile processing or OR experience.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Equivalent required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM Certification strongly preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and surgical case cart setup to ensure quality products for patient care.
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution with correct labeling by department.

Education

GED/High School Equivalent
