Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL seeks a Sterile Processing Technician for the Evenings shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) to support the Sterile Processing Department. The role is full-time/39-40 hours with rotating weekends and holidays, and pays hourly.

GED required; CBSPD/IAHCSMM preferred; 2 years sterile processing or OR experience preferred. The successful candidate will provide sterile materials and equipment to hospital facilities, follow decontamination and packaging procedures, ensure accurate

Qualifications

• GED/High School Equivalent required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM strongly preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and case cart setup.
• Follow procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
• Place sterile items in appropriate distribution areas with accurate labeling.
