Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the even­ing shift. The role includes decontamination, sterilization, and cart preparation to support patient care across hospital facilities.

Requirements include a GED or high school equivalent; CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification is strongly preferred; two years of sterile processing or operating room experience is desirable. This position offers full-time or part-time options with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Equivalent required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification strongly preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or OR instrumentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging sterilization and cart set up to ensure quality for patient care.
• Follow procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution with correct labeling by department.
