Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor for the 11am-7:30pm shift. You will oversee the accuracy and availability of surgical instruments, implants, and supplies used in all surgeries, manage consigned and loaner trays, and ensure efficient daily OR operations and inventory control.

You will lead and train staff, build relationships with surgeons and clinicians, schedule assignments, provide real-time coaching, and drive workflow improvements in a high reliability

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent (Required).
• CRCST certification required.
• IAHCSMM certification preferred or relevant.

Responsibilities

• Serves as acting leader in the absence of management.
• Collaborate with OR and SPD staff to meet needs efficiently and accurately.
• Schedule and assign staff on their team/shift.
• Directly oversee team members to guide department success.
• Communicate changes and educate staff on instrumentation and equipment.
• Implement workflow initiatives to improve productivity.
• Provide real-time coaching and follow-up to management.
• Fill staffing vacancies and assist in training associates.
