Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Lead Instrumentation Coordinator to oversee daily operations between the Operating Rooms and Sterile Processing Departments. You will ensure sterilized instruments are prepped, tracked, and delivered aseptically across multiple hospital sites, including Ross Heart Hospital and University Hospital.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant experience required.
• Certification as CRCST or CSPDT is required upon hire.
• An associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead oversight of daily activities between OR and Sterile Processing.
• Coordinate case cart assembly, decontamination, and sterilization workflows.
• Serve as clinical liaison between Operating Rooms and CSS offsite locations.
• Monitor OR schedules to ensure instrumentation is processed and delivered on time.

Education

CRCST certification (HSPA) or CSPDT certification (CBSPD)

Associate degree in relevant field
