Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Senior Instrumentation Coordinator to manage daily workflows between the Operating Rooms and Sterile Processing Departments, ensuring aseptic packaging, delivery, and standardized instrument trays across the Enterprise.

You will lead collaboration with clinical operations and reprocessing teams at multiple sites, promoting efficient case flow and patient care across the health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum two years experience as instrument processor or Surgical Technologist.
• Certification CRCST or CSPDT required within 6 months or upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Departments to facilitate efficient case flow.
• Oversee case cart assembly, decontamination, sterilization/high-level disinfection of reprocessed surgical inventory.
• Organize instrument trays globally to service the Enterprise and support process improvement initiatives.
