Colonial Group in Missouri is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to serve as the main contact for drivers at the Welcome Center and Shipping & Receiving Office. You will verify shipments, maintain schedules, and ensure accurate documentation.

The role emphasizes customer service, coordination with yard crews, and compliance with safety standards. This on-site position requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years relevant experience in shipping/receiving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic math, reading, and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and sign drivers in/out of the facility and verify paperwork.
• Assign dock doors to inbound/outbound loads; coordinate with yard spotters and warehouse teams.
• Process Bills of Lading and related shipping/receiving documentation; maintain records.
• Maintain real-time door and yard reports for trailer inventory.
• Maintain inbound and outbound shipment schedules using warehouse management systems.
• Coordinate yard movements and dock assignments to optimize operational flow.
• Provide responsive customer service to internal and external customers.
• Communicate shipment issues or scheduling changes promptly to management, drivers, and teams.
• Report errors or issues to leadership to ensure compliance.
