Qualifications

• 1–2 years relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic math, reading, and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and sign drivers in and out of the facility, verifying paperwork.
• Assign dock doors to inbound and outbound loads, coordinating with yard spotters and warehouse teams.
• Process Bills of Lading and related shipping/receiving documentation, maintaining records.
• Maintain real-time door and yard reports for trailer inventory.
• Maintain inbound/outbound shipment schedules using warehouse management systems.
• Coordinate yard movements and dock assignments to optimize flow.
• Reconcile inbound shipments with packing slips and coordinate drop lot activity.
• Provide responsive, high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.
• Communicate shipment issues or scheduling changes promptly to management, drivers, and warehouse teams.
• Report errors or issues to leadership to ensure process accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in required training and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
