Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor for a part-time evening shift (Fridays and Saturdays, 3pm to 11pm) at a client site in Smithfield, VA. You will supervise security officers on the shift, coordinate with site supervisors and account managers, and ensure delivery of high-quality security services.

This role emphasizes coaching, discipline within empowerment guidelines, reporting, and maintaining strong customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare neat written reports and logs.
• Read and follow all procedures and instructions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record where applicable.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills for client-site wireless technology.
• Ability to handle crises calmly and effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on assigned shift and coordinate delivery of services.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor and Account/Field Operations managers and officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within empowerment guidelines.
