Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to oversee security services on a single shift at an assigned site. This full-time position reports to the site supervisor and Account Manager, coordinating guards and operations during the 1600–0000 shift Thursday through Sunday.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 3+ Years Security, Military, OR Law Enforcement Experience OR Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice
• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
• Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting;
• Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Driving Positions: valid Driver’s License with driving experience, clean driving record, and adequate insurance as required by policy; ability to operate a vehicle
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required; may pass Drivers Record check
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize wireless technology at client sites
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers on shift.
• Supervise staff on assigned shift; provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within empowerment range.
