Job summary

Banner Health Corporate seeks a Security Dispatch Supervisor to lead a full-time team, Monday–Friday 2PM–10:30PM, coordinating emergency and routine responses across sites, and monitoring security systems to protect patients, visitors and staff. You will prepare analyses and reports while guiding staff in policy adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience is required.
• Two years of dispatching experience with radio equipment is required.
• Must be able to exercise good independent judgment in emergencies.
• Effective communication with staff, physicians and other contacts is required.
• Strong self-motivation, organization, and ability to compile quality reports are needed.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operation of the security central dispatch.
• Receive and route incoming phone, radio and alarm inputs, and coordinate service requests.
• Coordinate emergent and non-emergent responses for all sites.
• Prepare written documentation and management reports; maintain records.
• Oversee security cameras, access systems, and system software.
• Mentor staff, conduct evaluations, and support department policies.
• Assess emergencies, prioritize responses, and coordinate resources with internal and external customers.
