Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Security Dispatcher to manage emergency calls, monitor multiple alarm systems and surveillance equipment, and coordinate rapid responses for fire, law enforcement and clinical staff. You will receive, prioritize, and transmit a large volume of radio and telephone transmissions 24/7, ensuring accurate documentation of actions.

Work includes monitoring life-safety systems, coordinating system-wide responses during emergencies, and after-hours coverage depending on shift

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
• One-year previous dispatching experience with emergency life safety systems and working knowledge of radio communication equipment is preferred.
• Typing/Computer proficiency – basic knowledge/capability for typing and operation of dispatch center computers.

Responsibilities

• Receive, screen, and take appropriate action on emergency and non-emergency calls for Security and related services.
• Monitor multiple alarm and surveillance systems and coordinate responses by appropriate staff.
• Dispatch emergent and non-emergent traffic and document actions, shifts, and outcomes.
• Provide after-hours support and handle overflow telephone inquiries as needed.
