Job summary

Rockwood R-6 School District Pond Elementary in Wildwood, MO, is hiring a Custodian II for the day shift. The role runs 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, 40 hours per week on a 12-month calendar. Starting pay is $16.90 per hour with a standard benefits package beginning on the first date of employment.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, floors, and building security, with routine maintenance and event setup. The position requires physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning methods, equipment and safety precautions.
• Ability to understand chemical labels and dilution instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, restrooms and common areas according to procedures.
• Prepare and finish/refinish floors as directed.
• Set up and clean facilities for events and school functions.
• Monitor security and keep buildings secured per procedure.
• Assist with snow/ice removal and outdoor cleaning as needed.
