Job summary

Rockwood R-6 School District Ballwin Elementary in Ballwin, Missouri, is hiring a Custodian II for day shift. The role supports a safe, clean learning environment with a 40-hour work week and a 12-month schedule. Starting date is immediate, with benefits beginning on employment date.

Salary is $16.90 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement within PEERS of Missouri. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders up to six feet.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and safety precautions.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and labels.

Responsibilities

• Clean surfaces, equipment and furniture in classrooms using appropriate supplies and equipment.
• Disinfect restrooms and clean up after breakfast and lunch shifts.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning for school functions.
• Keep premises secure and monitor halls and grounds.
• Perform duties requiring lifting up to 50 lbs and using ladders up to 6 ft.
