Job summary

Rockwood R-6 School District is hiring a Custodian II – Eureka High School in Eureka, Missouri, to provide a safe and clean learning environment. You will perform cleaning tasks, assist with school functions, and ensure building security during the 2:30 PM–11:00 PM shift.

The position is full-time, 12-month, with benefits starting on the first date of employment. Equal opportunity employer. Training provided and equipment supplied.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and supplies; basic safety for chemical use.
• Math skills to follow manufacturers' dilution instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reports on work-related injuries with Head/Lead Custodian.
• Clean surfaces, equipment and furniture in classrooms.
• Disinfect restrooms and cleanup after meals.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance across floors; read caution labels.
• Set up and clean for school functions; keep building secure.
• Move materials and assist with custodial tasks as needed.
