Job summary

Custodian II – Day Shift at a Rockwood R-6 School District facility in Chesterfield, MO. The role focuses on safe, clean learning environments with responsibilities across classrooms, restrooms and common areas.

Hours are 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, 12-month, 40-hour weeks. Benefits begin on start date; 16.90 USD/hour with a full benefits package including PEERS retirement, life and disability insurance, holidays and uniforms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and chemical handling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect classrooms, restrooms and surfaces.
• Prepare and refinish hard floors as directed.
• Set up and clean for school events and functions.
• Monitor halls and grounds, secure building after hours.
• Report injuries and follow safety procedures.
