Job summary

Rockwood R-6 School District's Lafayette High School in Wildwood, MO is seeking an Evening Custodian to clean and secure facilities. The role runs 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with an immediate start and a 12-month calendar.

Salary is $16.90 per hour; uniforms are provided and a comprehensive benefits package begins on employment start date. The position requires good physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and use MSDS and cleaning supplies.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and supplies.
• Math skills for chemical dilution.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum various floors.
• Keep the building secured.
• Clean classrooms, cafeteria and common areas.
• Disinfect restrooms.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for school events.
• Handle packages and materials as needed.
• Remove snow and ice from exterior walks.
• Read labels and mix chemicals per directions.
• Support custodial tasks as required.
