Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Marlborough Hospital is seeking a Registration Services professional to handle scheduling, patient registration, and insurance coordination in a fast-paced environment. You will support multiple providers and campuses while ensuring accurate data entry and patient communication.

The role requires a high school diploma with preferred associate/bachelor's in business or healthcare. Evening shift with weekend rotation and potential signing bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare preferred.
• EPIC or healthcare scheduling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter Lab, Radiology and basic ancillary service appointments to schedules.
• Schedule patients for treatment and services for multiple providers at multiple campuses.
• Coordinate the provision of multiple services to patients.
• Process updates and corrections to patient insurance and demographic information, and obtain prior insurance referrals and authorizations.
• Collect patient liabilities prior to or on the date of service, as appropriate.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance coverage and ensure pre-authorization and referrals are obtained.
