Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Guest Relations Representative for an evening full-time shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues). The role acts as a liaison between patients, families and hospital staff, ensuring a welcoming environment and addressing concerns for a smooth experience.

Responsibilities include verifying patient registration, escorting patients and guests, and responding to requests.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent (Required).
• Previous customer service or healthcare experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between patients, families, visitors and hospital/medical teams to ensure a smooth, comfortable experience.
• Provides a welcoming, genuine environment and addresses concerns promptly.
• Verifies patient registration and escorts patients and guests to destinations by walking or wheelchair.
• Responds to patient, family and team member requests in a timely manner.
