Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor for the Lutheran General IL ED Arrival area. The role supports the access team, trains registrars, and ensures accurate cash management. Shift is 2pm–10:30pm with weekend rotations, on-site at Advocate Health facilities in Illinois.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of supervisory experience, healthcare billing knowledge, and strong communication skills. Benefits are included as part of Advocate Health's Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Background in patient access and health insurance is required.
• Experience in healthcare billing, follow-up, and certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager, Director, AVP in meeting performance goals for Patient Access.
• Train registrars in all areas of patient access and supervise staff.
• Provide guidance on performance through rounding and audits.
• Register and pre-register patients to support the team.
• Staff appropriately and complete performance appraisals.
