Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with phlebotomy, transport patients, monitor vital signs, wound care, Foley catheter insertion, and lab specimen collection.
• Document procedures and promptly communicate observations to the nurse.
• Process daily patient charges and related procedures in the EHR.
• Coordinate communications to facilitate patient care across phone, paging, electronic, and EMS systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety policies.
