Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Part Time Patient Access Representative to handle patient registration, insurance verification and portal enrollment.

The role requires accurate data entry, friendly customer service, and coordination with clinical and revenue cycle departments to ensure a smooth patient experience. The position includes evenings, 16 hours per week, with a schedule that alternates Mondays and Fridays, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Certificate/Degree in health care related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and register patients in the hospital information system accurately.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect real time information at point of service.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate data entry.
• Greet patients and visitors and direct them throughout the facility.
• Promote MyChart patient portal and patient self-service capabilities.
• Cross train in outpatient and emergency department registration at multiple locations.
