Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Part Time Patient Access Representative for evenings at Grand View Main location. You will handle outpatient and ED registration, verify insurance, and coordinate with clinic teams to ensure an optimal patient experience.

The role requires strong customer service, accurate data entry, and familiarity with health information systems. Travel between campus locations may be required, with a focus on patient access workflows and portal utilization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• General computer experience and ability to type fluently, accurately, and quickly required.
• Knowledge of health information systems (Epic) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for outpatient and ED visits, ensuring accurate demographics and insurance data.
• Verify insurances and real-time eligibility, collect co-pays when applicable.
• Coordinate with practices and revenue cycle departments to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate records.
• Cross-train across locations and assist patients with Welcome Kiosk and MyChart instructions.
