Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a part-time Custodian to clean all facility areas and maintain a sanitary environment. The role runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, totaling 10 hours a week.

The position emphasizes safety, proper waste handling, and respectful, professional conduct. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and about six months of related custodial experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of related custodial experience preferred.
• Able to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Able to apply common sense understanding to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties to keep all facility areas clean and presentable.
• Clean offices, lobbies, cafeterias, lounges, corridors, elevators and stairs.
• Empty and replace trash can liners; manage waste and recyclables.
• Ensure safety by using PPE and following infection control practices.
• Lock/unlock doors, secure areas, and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
• Keep pathways clear and report hazards to supervisor.
