Owens Realty Services in Raleigh, NC seeks a part-time General Cleaner to maintain facility cleanliness to industry standards. The role requires evening hours, 6 PM–10 PM, Mon–Fri, with a 20-hour workweek at $14.00/hour.

The candidate will perform custodial duties across offices, lobbies, bathrooms and common areas, adhere to safety protocols, and report hazards. A high school diploma or GED and basic English are preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Able to apply common sense understanding to follow instructions.
• Six months of related experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Company.
• Performs routine cleaning of administrative offices, lobbies, breakrooms, lounges, corridors, bathrooms, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Cleans toilets and sanitizes restrooms including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of all surfaces and stocks restroom with supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, exhibits, fixtures, windows, doors, trim, and related furnishings; moves furniture only when directed by a supervisor.
• Collects recyclables and waste and replaces liners.
• Cleans telephones periodically using germicidal cleaners.
• Vacuums carpets and cleans in high-traffic areas.
• Cleans light switches, doors and walls and tops of modular furniture and blinds.
• Cleans and polishes tables, benches, chairs, stainless steel surfaces and sinks; removes cobwebs.
• Locks/unlocks doors, turns off lights when rooms are unoccupied and reports hazards.
• Follows PPE and safety procedures including handling bio-waste and infection control practices.
• Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
