Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a General Cleaner to perform custodial duties across our facility. The role involves cleaning offices, lobbies, restrooms, common areas and heavy foot traffic zones to industry standards.

This position requires ability to follow instructions in English, a high school diploma or GED preferred, and flexibility to work nights and weekends. Pay starts at $15.50 per hour with a schedule Mon-Fri evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of related cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans offices, lobbies, breakrooms, lounges, corridors, bathrooms, elevators and stairways.
• Cleans toilets and sanitizes restrooms, including stocking supplies.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, windows, doors, fixtures; moves furniture per supervisor.
• Collects trash and recycling; replaces liners.
• Cleans phones with germicidal cleaners.
• Vacuums carpets and traffic areas; removes debris.
• Cleans light switches, doors, walls, tables and chairs; polishes fixtures.
• Removes cobwebs; safely empties trash and breaks down heavy trash.
• Secures area with safety signs; locks/unlocks doors and turns off lights.
• Reports on time in uniform with badge and safety shoes; reports safety hazards.
• Follows PPE and bio-waste handling procedures; infection control practices.
• Works nights, weekends, and holidays; keeps cleaning carts and closets secure.
• Keeps hallways clear; returns equipment clean after shifts.
• Completes additional duties as assigned.
