Job summary

ABA Centers of New Jersey, LLC is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) to provide ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics under BCBA supervision. The role focuses on direct client support, teaching communication and daily living skills, and tracking progress.

Starting pay is $22.25/hour for BTs and $24.60/hour for RBTs, with final compensation determined by experience and education. Availability Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–8:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM in Hackensack, NJ,

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• NJ candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, in healthcare, or in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing training
• Collaborate with and support families in implementing strategies
