Job summary

Reimagined Parking in Spokane seeks a Parking Enforcement officer to patrol areas, issue citations, and report hazards. You will maintain meters and signs, assist with towing, and keep detailed records. You will also help customers with pay stations and mobile apps while upholding state and local laws.

The role requires walking or driving, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experienced with Microsoft Windows PCs and related applications (Word / Excel / Access / Outlook).
• Comfortable with devices running both Android and Apple Operating Systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Driver's license required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Parking Enforcement officer patrols assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle and enforces parking regulations.
• Issues warnings or citations for violations such as expired time limits, restricted zones, or lack of permits.
• Reports hazardous conditions, such as missing signs or damaged equipment, to supervisor.
• Maintains parking equipment, like meters or signs.
• Assists with towing and impounding of abandoned or illegally parked vehicles.
• Completes and maintains accurate written reports and records.
• Assists customers with issues related to mobile phones and pay-by-phone app.
• Works closely with teammates to meet safety standards and laws.
