Job summary

SP+ is hiring a Parking Enforcement Officer to monitor streets, lots and campuses, ensuring compliance with parking policies and assisting the public with directions and policy questions.

The role requires independence, sound judgment, and the ability to handle tickets, equipment maintenance, and event support, including traffic control and payments. Must be 18+ with valid driver's license and able to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Geography knowledge of enforcing area.
• Hazard and safety awareness required.
• Ability to use a handheld computer.
• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle.
• Understand and apply parking regulations.
• Interact courteously and tactfully with others.
• Ability to walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor streets, lots, garages, and campuses to enforce parking policies.
• Provide directions and policy information to the public.
• Issue citations or warnings for non-compliance; impound or relocate vehicles as directed.
• Work independently with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Assist in maintenance duties related to parking equipment and meters.
• Support event staffing with parking setup, traffic control, and payments.
