Job summary

SP+ is seeking a parking attendant in Boston, MA. The role involves guiding customers to open parking spaces, counting vehicles, issuing warnings for policy violations, patrolling levels, and helping customers locate their vehicles.

You must be punctual, in uniform, and ready to assist with maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager. Shift is Mon-Fri 3:00pm-11:30pm with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour; more shifts and weekends may be required depending on location needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to perform basic math using money and measurements.
• Maintain neat, clean appearance and wear uniform at all times.
• Shift flexibility may be required, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on site during shift as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or via motor carts.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked their vehicle.
• Ensure on-time attendance and proper uniform at all times.
• Assist customers and direct them to the Facility Manager when needed.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as required.
• Help maintain parking equipment and perform general tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
