Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team in Attleboro, MA. This role supports campus and city parking operations with hourly pay and a daytime schedule.

You will monitor designated streets and lots to ensure policy compliance and assist customers with directions, events, and parking policies. Responsibilities include issuing citations, towing or relocating vehicles as directed, and helping with maintenance, event parking, and permit sales during peak

Qualifications

• Independent judgment and high level of customer service required.
• Knowledge of local geography.
• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle.
• Ability to understand and apply parking regulations.
• Ability to walk for extended periods.
• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor designated streets, lots, garages to enforce parking policies.
• Provide customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations and parking policies.
• Issue citations and warnings for non-compliance; impound or relocate vehicles as directed.
• Assist maintenance staff with duties related to parking equipment and facility upkeep.
• Assist event staff with parking for events.
• Assist with permit sales data entry and mailings.
• Enforce safety and operate under non-police authority.
