Job summary

Safe Harbor Shelter seeks a Part-Time Human Trafficking Client Service Advocate to provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and supportive counseling for survivors in a confidential shelter. The role supports residents in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive manner and reports to the Human Trafficking Program Manager.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, participating in supervision, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team, and leading volunteers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred.
• Experience with survivors of trauma or trafficking is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to residents in a confidential shelter.
• Ensure safety and security of the program and records.
• Maintain daily client records and prepare regular reports.
• Represent Safe Harbor at meetings and participate in supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and lead volunteers.
