Job summary

Tcn Behavioral Health Services is seeking a dedicated advocate to respond to emergencies, provide mobile advocacy, and support trafficking and domestic violence survivors at a residential shelter. The role emphasizes trauma‑informed care and collaboration with local services.

The position may involve evenings/weekends, fielded client contacts, and on‑site shelter duties including safety checks and activity planning. A driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience: 2 years in related field preferred.
• License: Valid Ohio Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
• Cell phone required for on-call and advocacy work.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergencies and provides mobile advocacy.
• Promotes transparency and trauma‑informed care in conduct.
• Crosstrains in legal advocacy to support protection orders and courts.
• Plans quarterly activities and provides resources for victims/survivors.
• Monitors shelter security, safety procedures, and compliance with curfews.
• Coordinates safety planning and follow‑up with clients as needed.
