Job summary

Lutheran Health Network in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time evening shifts (12:30pm–11:00pm) in the Main OR 16 OR Suites. The role includes one shift per week on the Main OR, with weekend call rotation and holiday on-call/work as assigned.

You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate with the surgical team, monitor vitals, administer meds, and ensure safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively.
• Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
