Baptist Health Downtown in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Main OR team. This full-time evening shift (11:00 AM–11:00 PM) includes a call requirement with a 40-minute response time, and offers opportunities to provide high-quality perioperative care in a busy hospital setting.

The RN will care for patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures, collaborate with surgeons and staff, educate families about plans of care, and participate in departmental meetings to uphold

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with active Florida license.
• Associate of Science in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• 1–2 years Operating Room Circulating Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the Operating Room setting.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians and hospital staff.
• Advocate for patients and ensure safety.
• Participate in unit meetings and activities.
