The Bostonian in Dorchester, MA is seeking an Evening Nurse Supervisor (3pm-11pm) to lead our clinical team. The role includes overseeing admissions/discharges and mentoring nurses and CNAs, while ensuring high-quality resident care in a renovated 121-bed facility with easy access to public transport.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus, health insurance, a 403(b) plan, tuition reimbursement, and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• One year of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting.
• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise and mentor nurses and CNAs, to foster growth and learning in clinical team.
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions.
• Ensure high-quality resident/patient care.
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed.
