Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to coordinate and schedule patient appointments and support the multidisciplinary care team. The role supports timely provider appointments, diagnostics, procedures, and treatments, working 40 hours per week with an Evening/Night shift.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and three years of healthcare customer service experience; experience with One Connect is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of relevant work experience in healthcare customer service is required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments.
• Schedule provider appointments, tests, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare and maintain daily appointment templates and patient records in One Connect.
• Communicate information to families, physicians, and team members.
• Collect co-payments and validate insurance and demographics.
• Update payment and patient information and reconcile cash.
