Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Float Pool member at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. This part-time CNA role provides patient care under RN supervision, with 24 hours per week across two 12-hour shifts (7pm–7:30am), including every other weekend.

Accurate EMR documentation and teamwork are essential. Education required: High School diploma or GED; CNA and BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Nurse Aide (CNA) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) within 45 days.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to follow RN instructions and perform basic patient care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility).
• Document vital signs, intake/output, and other data in EMR.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge under RN supervision.
• Maintain clean, stocked nursing station and transfer patients safely.
