Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Part-time Nurse Aide for the Illinois Masonic Medical Center Nursing Float Pool. Two 12-hour shifts per week are 7pm–7:30am, with every other weekend and self-scheduling available. Pay range is $20.80–$31.20 per hour, with benefits eligible.

Responsibilities include assisting RNs, recording vitals and observations, EMR documentation, and patient transfer assistance, with growth and training opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSED required.
• Nurse Aide in good standing in the State Registry; BLS certification within 45 days.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, mobility and activities.
• Record vitals (BP, TPR), intake/output, daily weights and patient data.
• Document accurately in the EMR.
• Participate in admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Answer patient call lights promptly and maintain safety.
• Maintain nursing area stock and cleanliness; transport and reposition patients as needed.
• Assist with specimen collection and routine tasks under supervision.
