Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago seeks a Nursing Assistant for the 7p-7a Float Pool. This part-time position (24 hours per week) offers weekend/holiday obligations and self-scheduling. Wage range $20.80–$31.20 per hour.

You will assist RNs with daily patient care, perform basic nursing tasks, document in EMR, and participate in admission, transfer and discharge activities under supervision. Lifting up to 50 lbs and ability to work nights are required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, mobility).
• Document vitals and patient data in EMR.
• Perform rounds and communicate patient needs to RN.
• Assist in admissions, transfers and discharge under supervision.
• Maintain stock and clean nursing areas and assist with transport as needed.
