Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Resource Team CNA for night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), totaling 36 hours per week. Expect floating within Zone 6–8 to support multiple hospital units. Requires 1–2 years of acute care CNA experience, current CNA certification, and BLS within 45 days.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Knowledge of hospital policies and infection prevention is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, grooming and mobility.
• Record and document vital signs and patient data in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient needs to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Collect specimens and perform point‑of‑care testing as indicated.
• Restock nursing areas and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Assist with patient positioning and transfer as needed.
• Maintain skin integrity and ensure proper use of supportive devices.
