Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville is seeking a Mental Health Associate I for Linden Oaks/Chemical Dependency Adults on the Evening Shift. The position is part-time (20 hours) with an 3:00-11:30pm schedule and rotating weekends/holidays.

The role involves facilitating groups, supervising patients, and contributing to treatment planning within a multidisciplinary team. A behavioral health degree or a related degree with experience meets the education requirements.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Behavioral Health related field, or a non-Behavioral Health degree with at least one year of behavioral health experience.
• Maintain information as highly confidential and uphold professional boundaries.
• Ability to seek supervision when needed.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates didactic, educational and unit/group activities; encourages patient participation in therapy.
• Provides one-to-one supervision to ensure patient safety and active involvement in treatment.
• Conducts unit rounds and maintains accurate precaution records in real time.
• Orients new patients to the unit and provides handoff information on transfers.
• Contributes to treatment planning with the interdisciplinary team and updates discharge planning as needed.
• Completes patient, program and department documentation; supports department operations.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates updates to shift charge and families.
