Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a part-time Medication Technician in Sioux Falls to administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse and provide daily resident care per care plans. The role includes recording documentation, assisting with personal care, dining, and activities while maintaining safety and infection control standards.

Shift is 4pm-8pm, 12-16 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist/ administer medications under licensed nurse supervision.
• Maintain documentation of medication administration and observe side effects.
• Provide personal care activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Assist in dining rooms to provide resident care and monitoring.
• Promote safety and infection control; report unsafe conditions.
• Communicate with nurses about resident conditions.
