Job summary

The Inn on Westport in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a part-time Medication Technician for the evening shift to administer medications within the licensed scope and provide daily resident care per plan. This role requires compassionate, reliable care and the ability to follow detailed procedures.

You will work on-site, 4pm-8pm with 12-16 hours weekly, including every other weekend and holiday. The position offers competitive hourly pay between $17 and $20 and the chance to join a Platinum

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Document medication administration accurately and report side effects.
• Assist residents with personal care tasks and activities of daily living.
• Assist in dining rooms to support resident care.
• Encourage social engagement and participation in activities.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health to the nurse.
• Maintain infection control and safety practices.
