Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, documenting medication effects, and promoting engagement in planned activities while maintaining safety and infection-control practices.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and effects.
• Provide personal care activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, etc.).
• Assist in dining rooms to provide resident care and monitoring.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and socialization.
• Observe health and emotional conditions and report changes to the nurse.
